Hey everyone!

At QBS, we’re all about providing a supportive dance environment for you to learn Salsa/Bachata. Here, you get to choose whether you want to lead or follow, allowing you to truly express yourself. Everyone is welcome. Let’s expand our Latin dance scenes, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community.

In more detail, we are teaching social dancing, which will focus on hand signalling, a universal language that doesn’t rely on choreography (you can take the skill with you anywhere in the world and dance salsa). Once you grasp the basics, you’ll be able to dance with anyone to any salsa song.

We also rotate dance partners during the class, so no partner is required. The eye contact and physical touch inherent to the dance not only add to the fun but also contribute to mental well-being. You’ll have fun, stay fit, and mingle with others, supporting our local pub, DT’s, and bringing the community together. It’s like hitting a dozen birds with one stone. All you need to do is show up, have fun, and stay consistent.

To make it even better, since I am growing the scene, after your first class ($25), I am offering half-price sessions to make it easy for you to keep up with the footwork, get used to the rhythm, and become comfortable until you are ready for more in-depth training (monthly plan).

RECAP
FREE beginner intro at DT`s hotel starts at 6:30 p.m., with the first 30 minutes, giving you a taste of salsa. After that, you can decide if you’d like to continue with more training. From 7:30 to 9 p.m for $25, whether you choose to keep dancing or just hang out, you’re welcome to stay, observe, and enjoy the evening.
