Gay Life Drawing
June 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The long-running Gay Life Drawing Melbourne sessions returns to the Victorian Pride Centre this Pride month, following last year’s wildly successful Pride filled session. A popular and much talked about event around Melbourne since its launch in 2018, Gay Life Drawing Melbourne is a monthly inclusive event for all adults to partake in self-expression, enjoy a drink and draw live models, in a friendly safe & supportive space.
We invite curious beginners with no experience through to experienced artists to attend. Each session is different, from classical nude to artfully themed, and showcasing diverse models. Gay Life Drawing is about embracing body positivity and queer visibility through themes reflecting queer culture, art and cinema.
The June session will be hosted by Ian James Scott and will feature models to be revealed closer to the event. You are welcome to bring your own supplies however some basic paper and drawing equipment is provided. The session is untutored, however newcomers will be supported and guided if requested. Please be advised that this session will include nudity.
