WHERE DO WE MEET?

Please head to the Visitor Centre upon arrival.

WHAT TO BRING:

No equipment is required but we recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather – preferably wearing comfortable shoes and long pants.

ACCESSIBILITY:

The walking tour will be maximum 1.5kms long.
The tour includes long periods of standing with limited access to seating.
The terrain is gravel tracks with some erosion and slopes.
Wheelchairs can access the track but it is rough and sloped so some wheelchairs (e.g., heavier chairs) may struggle with this terrain.
Parents can use strollers on the track.
There is one accessible toilet that doubles as a gender neutral toilet.
If you have any accessibility questions please email: shanti@bridgedarebin.org.au

PARKING:

Parking is available in the Sanctuary Carpark and Car Park 8.

ABOUT NANGAK TAMBOREE:

Bridge Queer Gathering acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the traditional custodians of the lands Nangank Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary is located on. We pay our respects to the Wurundjeri Elders past and present.

Nangak Tamboree (nan-nyack tam-bor-ee) means respecting/sharing/looking after the waterway in Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people.
