Nomads Outdoors Group – Brighton Beach to Port Melbourne Ramble

A pleasant winter’s day stroll along the Melbourne foreshore, finishing at Bay Street, Port Melbourne. Highlights include Brighton bathing boxes, Elwood Beach, St Kilda Beach, life saving clubs and million dollar real estate.

GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: A Moderate, mainly flat 12.5 km walk (graded as per Leaders Guide – Appendix A: Activity Grading Guidelines).

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: Meeting outside Brighton Beach station (on the seaward side) at 10.50am, a pleasant walk along foreshore paths, promenades and beaches, offering lovely vistas out over Port Phillip Bay towards the city and coast. Alfresco, BYO lunch at a park adjacent to St Kilda Marina, before continuing on to the event’s termination at Bay Street, Port Melbourne for an optional pub liquid refreshment, or to catch the light rail/tram, opposite Station Pier, back into the city.
