Come and visit grasslands in Royal Park that were planted by the City of Melbourne in 2021 (between lockdowns)!

GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Grade 2: Easy 9 km circuit walk (graded according to the AWTGS: Australian Walking Tracks Grading System).

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: After viewing the grasslands, we will enjoy a picnic dinner (BYO food – NO BBQ) in the established native garden of Royal Park. After dinner, onwards through the University of Melbourne grounds in search of gelato in Lygon St! Returning on a slightly different route through the uni and Royal Park. Note: if the forecast for the day is 35c or above as at Monday 13 January, the event will be cancelled.
