Celebrate the next generation of writers at the 2024 Brimbank Writers & Readers Festival. Audience: Young People.

The Bold Source is a truly ‘Brimbankian’ magazine – made by and for local young people. Join us for a night of storytelling, live music, and meaningful conversation as we celebrate the release of Issue #4, Solidarity: Social Justice in Action.

This youth-led, all-ages event will be supervised by Brimbank Youth Services staff.

This event will be Auslan interpreted.

The 2024 Brimbank Writers & Readers Festival

The Brimbank Writers & Readers Festival is a yearly event that celebrates and encourages a love of reading, storytelling, creativity, diversity and learning. This years festival takes place from Thursday 14 March until Saturday 23 March 2024.

Brimbank City Council is delighted to present the 2024 Program, supported by Principal sponsor Victoria University, and partnered events with the Bowery Theatre, BorrowBox, Vision Australia, local writers and community groups.
