The Pride Fund warmly invite you to kick off the Victorian Pride Centre’s ‘Coming Out! Celebrating 50 Years of Gay Liberation’ weekend, at the launch of the new book ‘The Making of the Victorian Pride Centre’ by Dr Judith Buckrich, and accompanying exhibition, on Friday 2 December 2022.

The book will be launched by the Hon. Martin Foley MP, former Minister for Equality.

The book explores the history of LGBTIQ+ communities in Victoria, and tells the story of the Victorian Pride Centre, from conception to design and construction and features stunning photographs of its journey as Australia’s first purpose-built Pride Centre.
