Thorne Harbour Health partners with Naarm’s emerging Ballroom house, House of Diesel , for a two-day event celebrating International Trans Day of Visibility.

Join Legendary Mother of IMAN, Jaycee Tanuvasa, and Mother of House of DIESEL, Julai Stewart for a community-building workshop designed to foster connection, collaboration, and a deep sense of togetherness.

This workshop offers a comprehensive breakdown of Ballroom history, with a special focus on Oceania’s Ballroom scene and the origins of Ballroom Aotearoa. Through a series of interactive activities, participants will engage in both Ballroom and non-Ballroom exercises, working together to achieve shared goals and strengthen community bonds.

Whether you’re new to Ballroom or a longtime participant, this is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect in a supportive and empowering space.

This event is proudly presented by Thorne Harbour Health in joint partnership with the House of Diesel. Together, we honour Trans Day of Visibility with two days of events dedicated to uplifting trans and femme voices in Ballroom and beyond.
