Meet Amber (she/her), 

Amber is a proud, queer storyteller, facilitator, artist and activist who draws on personal experiences to foster understanding and social change. Her passion lies in educating and creating understanding through storytelling. As a graduate of the Telling it With Pride Speakers (TiPS) Program, she enjoys crafting spoken word pieces and presentations that explore themes such as her journey as a queer person, homophobia, mental health, intersectionality, hope, shame, and being your true yourself. 

Fun Fact: Amber lived at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand!

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing 

Amber has a range of speaking experiences including formal educational settings, at ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) and spoken word events. She is experienced in crafting speeches, workshops or presentations to fit most settings. She enjoys presenting to a wide variety of crowds, from people with limited knowledge of LGBTIQA+ identities to queer audiences!
