Location: Pride Gallery, ground floor of Victorian Pride Centre
This exhibition highlights a rich variety of posters, banners and placards across the decades that have focused on campaigns of social and political change for LGBTIQ+ communities, from the early days of Gay Liberation to Law Reform, the AIDS crisis and response, Marriage Equality and Trans visibility/rights. Printed Protest showcases the creativity and determination of LGBTIQ+ communities through the imagery, messaging and artwork that pushed for change.
Co-presented by the Australian Queer Archives and Victorian Pride Centre.
