Intersex Human Rights Australia

About

Intersex Human Rights Australia (IHRA) is a national body by and for people born with variations of sex characteristics. We promote human rights and bodily autonomy, and provide information, education, and an online peer support group. We were formerly known as OII Australia.

Our goals are to help create a society where intersex bodies are not stigmatised, and where our rights as people are recognised.

Yellow Tick training packages delivered online or face-to-face (subject to availability and public health regulations) by experienced people with lived experience: covering topics included but not limited to Brief introduction to Intersex people and issues, Intersex content and application half-day workshops, Custom and sector-specific training, Guest lectures and speaking engagements. Cost varies depending on training, and number of participants.

We are registered as: Charity.
