Performance Medicine provides Physiotherapy, Myotherapy, Massage, Acupuncture, Sports Doctors, Vocal Physiotherapy and Pelvic Health tailored to the performing arts community and to the wider community.

We understand how important it is for LGBTQIA Plus community to have access to health services that are affirming, enjoyable and allow the individual to find their exceptional..

Our clinical exercise groups are small and use quality clinical pilates and strength and conditioning equipment. Whether you are just getting started, rehabilitating an injury or wanting to run an ultra marathon, we can help.

All of our team have training in LGBTQIA Plus health and how to meet the community needs. We have a healthy proportion of LGBTQIA Plus identifying team members and existing clients and have created a great atmosphere and physical location to make ‘going to the physio’ something to really look forward to. Compared to work, family and educational settings, healthcare is where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) Australians report feeling least accepted. At Performance Medicine we get it and have created a great place to make a start or further develop your understanding of what your specific health needs are. You will be surprised how much you will take away from a course of treatment with us. And we will be thrilled to have you here.

We have a Pelvic Health physiotherapist who is dedicated to the LGBTQIA Plus community and can assist all clients with who may be transitioning, experiencing pelvic health issues, bowel and bladder issues and sexual dysfunction issues.

Cost: Our prices vary depending on the service, however as a guide: $30 for an Express Fitness Class, $125 for a 60 minute Remedial Massage and around $135 for an Initial Physiotherapy Session

We accept private health insurance and GP care plans.
