About

Psychology for Thriving is an LGBTQIA+ (Queer) affirming psychology practice utilising the latest psychological therapy interventions to help people manage stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, depression, adjustment to change, health problems and interpersonal and relationship difficulties.

We are committed to helping people develop psychological skills to more effectively deal with difficult thoughts, feelings, relationships, behaviours and experiences. Our goal is to introduce you to psychological strategies that will help you stay focused on what is most important to you when you encounter life changes and challenges. 

​If you are feeling stressed, anxious, sad, depressed, stuck or overwhelmed we invite you to work with us to learn how developing psychological flexibility can help you adjust to change and difficulty more easily. 

We are an LGBTQIA+ owned and operated clinic specialising in providing LGBTQIA+ affirming services. We passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ people.

We also specialise in supporting doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and students training in these fields.

I am an AHPRA registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Qualifications:
-Master of Social Science (Psychology) from the University of Waikato, New Zealand,
-Postgraduate Diploma (Community Psychology) from the University of Waikato, New Zealand,
-Postgraduate Diploma (Discursive Therapies) from Massey University, New Zealand.
