Queer Book Club

About

A safe and welcoming place to connect with community and celebrate queer voices.

Queer Book Club aims to create a safe and inclusive space for members of the local LGBTQIA+ community to come together and chat about a diverse range of books that reflect our experiences and identities. We believe that by reading and sharing stories, we can deepen our understanding of the queer experience and build connections with one another. Our hope is to foster a community that celebrates and amplifies queer voices and literature and creates a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Together, we aim to expand our knowledge, challenge our perspectives, and grow as individuals and as a community.

We meet monthly (currently in Bendigo, Brunswick, Castlemaine, and Daylesford) to chat about a book. Please feel free to drop in even if you haven’t read the book that month; we’d love to see you.

For all the books and meet-up information, please visit our website. We’re always welcoming new chapters in areas to kick off so please get in touch if there’s not a local group for you to join.
