Australia's first purpose-built home for LGBTIQA+ communities

More than bricks and mortar, the Victorian Pride Centre is a living, breathing space where history is honoured, futures are built, and every person belongs.

As Australia’s first purpose-built LGBTIQA+ Pride Centre, we bring together practical services, advocacy organisations, affirming spaces, and genuine opportunities for connection under one roof. We house major LGBTIQA+ resident organisations alongside flexible hire spaces, including meeting rooms, a rooftop terrace, co-working spaces, a theatrette, and a gallery.

We exist as a hub where community groups share ideas, build resources, and strengthen their work advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion across Victoria.

None of this is possible without support. The Victorian Pride Centre is sustained by generous donations from our communities, our Patrons, and contributors to our Pride Registry. Thank you for helping us keep this space open, active, and thriving.

Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.

Built by community.
Sustained by community.

The Victorian Pride Centre was made possible by one-off funding from the Victorian State Government in 2016, which supported the construction of a facility dedicated to LGBTIQA+ art, history, and community services. The City of Port Phillip gifted the land on which we stand, an extraordinary act of community generosity.

We do not receive ongoing government funding. Your support is what keeps our doors open, our services running, and our programs reaching the communities who need them. Every donation, large or small, makes a direct difference.
To see what we’ve achieved and where we’re heading, read our Annual Reports and Strategic Plan below.
