A SNAPSHOT OF OUR PROJECT START

February 2019

Preparatory works have now started on the site of the new Victorian Pride Centre. Activities planned for the next few weeks include:

  • Temporary boundary fencing to safely contain the site and provide much improved security, noting that some sections of the fencing will be replaced with painted solid plywood hoarding as the works progress
  • Tree protection, pruning and removal all strictly undertaken in accordance with Council approvals
  • Initial clearing of the site including concrete pavements
  • Relocation and diversion of existing services in and around the site
  • Strip out of the existing building, shortly followed by demolition of the structure

In conjunction with the Victorian Pride Centre, we will circulate short updates regularly via the Pride Centre website on the progress and planning of the construction to neighbours and other parties interested in this exciting project.
