Pride Centre Rooftop Party

Rooftop of the VPC

Join us for our first ever rooftop party on Sunday 6 February, the day of Pride March! Enjoy stunning views of the city and bay, while connecting with community.

This free, open-air event will feature a sausage sizzle run by Koorie Pride Victoria, drinks at the Co-Ground pop-up bar, and a live broadcast of JOY 94.9’s coverage of the Pride March, before DJ Alex Morris hits the decks in the afternoon. Every drink supports the Pride Centre and every snag supports Koorie Pride so you can feast all day guilt free.

Entry is free and you don’t need to book a ticket, however, for the comfort and safety of all guests, capacity on the rooftop is limited. First in, best dressed!

PROGRAM:
10am-11am classic queer anthems
11am-1:30pm live broadcast of the JOY94.9 Pride March coverage
1:30pm-6pm DJ Alex Morris

People under the age of 18 attending the Pride Centre Rooftop Party must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The ground floor of the Pride Centre will be open to people of all ages from 10am to 6pm. Check out our exhibitions ‘Freedom Is Mine’ and ‘Queer-ways: Retracing Melbourne’s Queer Footprint’ in the Pride Gallery and visit our resident queer bookstore Hares & Hyenas.

Entry to the vaccination clinic is from Jackson Street (at the rear of the Pride Centre).
